Wow, it’s been awhile, but there’s been a flurry of nice homes that have come on the market in Mt. Carmel, with some going pending or price reduced quicker than I could get myself updated here (but that’s another story). Here then, are some of the latest:
258 Elwood St. – $549,900 – 2br/2ba, 1070 sq. ft. on a 6500 sq. ft. lot. Quite possibly currently the lowest priced home in Mt. Carmel. A classic and quaint Craftsman, circa 1924. Great sized lot for the price.
273 Iris St. – $1,088,000 – 2br/2ba, 1700 sq. ft. on a 6500 sq. ft. lot – impeccably updated and landscaped, this is a nice place on a great street.
5 Elwood St. – $749,999 – 3br/2ba, 1230 sq. ft. on a 7020 sq. ft. lot. Nicely updated kitchen and bathrooms. Good location with easy access to Whipple (it’s right on the corner of Whipple & Elwood). This is listed as a short sale (last sold in Dec. ’05 for $825K).
1918 Brewster – $1,198,000 – 4br/1.5ba – 1920 sq. ft. on a 6350 sq. ft. lot. Originally priced at $1,249,950 23 days ago, it’s got nice curb appeal, updated kitchen, and a pool in the back (huge bonus for those hot days like we’ve been having this week).
202 Harrison St. – $1,089,000 – 4br/3.5ba – 2380 sq. ft. on a 5550 sq. ft. lot. Has a lot of nice curb appeal (ya gotta love the white picket fence!), and a lot of space for the price. You would be nestled amongst some multi-unit complexes, but this house is super conveniently close to a lot of amenities (Sequoia Station, Whole Foods, etc.).
